The world of web designing is changing rapidly and previous techniques are continuously being improved and new ones being developed. The aim of these techniques is to make the functions of the website better and user friendly. Original and unique content is one of the things that clients are looking for. Clients are always attracted to uniquely designed and well organized sites. It is thus important to ensure that your content is original. Original content will assist you in curbing the intense competition in the internet. You can design original website and content by consulting with friends or getting help from well experienced designers available. There are many companies that can assist you to create unique web design and original content for example SEO, SEM, SMO.

In the context of original and unique content, you can secure your site elements from being stolen by other internet users. You can encrypt data to prevent theft, during transfer of information. Encryption basically involves change of the data into something that cannot be easily understood by a third party, person other than the sender and the recipient of the information. Watermarks and use of applications like the mascot discourage coping of important elements from your site. Trademark is another way of securing information from theft. When you trademark something, it is reserved for you and no one else can be allowed to use that particular content.

Speed and compatibility of the site in all the browsers should also be ensured. It is imperative to make sure that your site is light enough to load fast enough in slow internet connections. You can use short and crispy paragraphs with breaks and bullet points where necessary. Avoid the use of content that increase the bandwidth of your site for example tables and graphics. However, these features maybe important depending on the site you are using. In case you have to use tables, go for a modern technique such as cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS allows the use of relatively small files and reduces the bandwidth of the site especially when tables and graphics have been used in the site. CSS also allows better positioning of website elements which makes the website appealing to the clients.

Images communicate a lot when used on a site. Modern techniques have made it possible for images to be used together with CSS and other modern techniques but this should only be done when you are conversant with CSS. However, it would be better to use images only when you have the knowledge of CSS. This is because images are bulky and they could reduce the speed of the site significantly. Pop up windows and links should be maintained at the minimum level possible. Pop up windows are annoying especially to some clients and they would rather not have them at all. Too many links on the other hand make your site look like a linking site which is not the kind of impression you want to create for your business.
